A parody of the book, as told from a slave's point of view, The Wind Done Gone by Alice Randall, was published in 2001.Dr. Annie besant(1847-1933) was born in england, came to benares in 1893 founded the central hindu college in 1898 for the education of hindu youth in the eesentials of their ancient faith and was the president of its board from 1898 to 1914 when she handed over the college to form the nucleus of benares hindu university. After this she served as president of theosophical society from 1907 till her death.she was elected president of the indian national congress in 1917, and general secretary of the national convention of india in 1923. Dr besant lectured frequently on theosophy and in 1926 travelled widely with her indian protege jiddu krishnamurti, whom she declared to be the new massiha. Her works include reincarnation (1892), the basis of morality (1915), a world of religion (1916), and india, bond or free? (1926).
Mahamana pandit madan mohan malviya(1861-1946) was born in allahabad. He graduated in arts and law from calcutta university. He considered a job of english teacher at district high school in begining but later on he moved to allahabad high court as an advocate. He was elected as president of indian national congress four times 1909, 1918, 1932 and 1933. On feb 4, 1916 he founded benares hindu university and served as vice chanceller of university from 1919 to 1939. He served as rector of university from 1939 till his death.for details click here...

Central hindu girls school

the school imparts education to around 1700 students from classes vi to xii in kamachha campus. The school board b.h.u. Decides the policy matters related to the school. Since 1976, the school has been affiliated to cbse and follows its norms. In this campus students take education of wide variety of subject in three stream viz. Science, arts and commerce at the 10+2 level.
Computer education is also offered to the students up to class x and computer science as an elective subject at the 10+2 level. Their is a new computer lab constructed with 45 system with advanced operating system to provide a good knowledge of computer to the students by the well educated computer teacher.
Many extra curricular activities like inner-house competitions-dance, debate, elocution, extempore speech, fancy dress, song , story etc., are regularly organized on a weekly basis. You can dress your child like his favourite character from any of the stories or poems that he has studied. They can dress up like the prince who saved snow-white or Humpty dumpty as it would be very innovative and comical as well.
