I'm 15 and I still don't have a bra and I can't start another school year without one and I don't want to get one in the middle of the year because then people know the exact time you got it.

My mum has asked lot's of time and a couple of times we've been in shops so close to buying them but every time I just say no and walk away or ignore her or change the subject but I really want one!

I've been the only one at school who doesn't wear one for 3 years and people say I should and I know that but I don't like talking to my mum so I have to wear plasters over my nipples and lots of vest tops but you can still see I'm not wearing one because it's not rounded like if I was wearing a bra so I wear jumpers or put my hair in front of them.

I measured myself and I'm a 34B so I'm going to order a bra online and only wear it at school but I hate it when people hug me and feel it and go oh my godd! You're wearing a bra!! (it's happened before when they thought I was) but I think I'll just deal with that but I don't know what to do about photos because if I have a photo of me then my mum will see I'm wearing a bra but then I can't not wear a bra for times when there's a photo because then people will think I'm weird for not wearing a bra only then...

Any tips for wearing it at school and ways for my mum not to see it in photos?
Yes I started my period ages ago but she doesn't know, like I said, I don't talk to her about much.

It's fine about washing it, I do all my own washing anyway.

And it's fine to wear it to school because you can't tell under the uniform and even if you could, it's a boarding school so I wouldn't need to go in the toilets but sounds like you had a good system going!

I don't know what 7th grade, high school or Walmart is because I'm English but I know I need one and I'm not worried about them being uncomfortable it's just that I get embarassed really easily :(

And people will go oh my god, they've done it before when they thought I was wearing one, and everyone at my school is so obsessed about boobs and what size you are and everyone talks about everyone :/

1 year agoHey, Wearing a bra is a must at your age. It starts to become a Must at the beginning of 7th grade and I believe you are in high school by now. Bras can be expensive online so just suck it up and go buy one at your local Walmart. They have cute ones that will do you just fine for cheaper.

I have another question. Why do you not want your mom to see you wearing a bra? I think she would be supportive of it. Tell her you are growing up and you are getting embarrassed about not having a bra.

Friends should not make a big deal about wearing a bra, everyone else is wearing one. They might be excited for you for a few seconds.

I know bras can be uncomfortable to wear sometimes. When i was in 6th grade i didn't want to wear a bra, but it became unbearable during the summer between 7th grade because your nipples poke out and it becomes uncomfortable. You will get used to a bra in no time though. Get one with thicker straps and it will not feel like it is digging into your skin.

Types of Bras you could get:

Sports Bra- this will make you look semi flat chested. It is great if you don't want anyone to know you are wearing a bra. Depending on the type you get, your nipples might still stick out, but your boobs will not bounce

Regular Bra- This will hide your nipples, and give support to the boobs you will get used to the feel in no time

Push Up bra- this bra pushes up your boobs a little making them look larger. It will flaunt them, if that is what you are after....

Anyway. I think that the regular bra works great.
