Sandeep Vaishya, father of the victim, alleged in his complaint that the girl's condition turned critical by the time she came home as she did not receive proper medical help.
"We were alarmed when Arundhati returned home. She was rushed to a nearby doctor and then to a private hospital," Sandeep said.
The family members of the victim also staged a demonstration in front of her school and demanded action against institution authorities.
However the school authorities denied any negligence. Father Donald Rodrgiues, manager of St. Paul's said, "We condole the loss of the student, but the school was not negligent. the parents knew that the girl was unwell. Whenever there is an instance where a child falls ill then we immediately inform their parents, or rush them to a hospital."
